8/3/12: After arriving at Gram's and Papa's house at 9 a.m., Momma and Daddy start getting things ready for my FIRST BIRTHDAY PARTY. Mom cooked me a Funfetti cake. She dreamed of this big cake that looked like a cupcake. Then the cake and icing ended up making a new dream. The icing started melting and the colors ran together. I will have icing around my cake that is at least one inch thick. The sprinkles on the top added the right touch to the cake and icing dream. I also ended the night by gaining a black eye for my first birthday party. Those tables don't move easily. Luckily I woke up to a very slight blue bruise by my right eye that doesn't show up in pictures. All memories must be made!

August 4, 2012: We all went to see Aunt Shelby before

she graduated from Auburn University.

This is not the first time for Ayda to travel to Auburn,

but it is the first time to be on the campus.

August 4, 2012: Ayda's First Birthday Party

Her birthday dress and the back up dress were worn and washed before the party.
She loves to make a mess!

After a quick bath, Ayda changes into her back up dress and then open gifts!

She loved to play with the tissue paper, but then found something inside!

She carried this giraffe around almost the entire opening present time. It sung the ABC's.
Ayda would walk around and dance to the song.
Then at the end of the song, Ayda would walk to Amy to get her to turn it back on.
Thank you Ryan and Jill for the giraffe and the dress.

Ayda also received her first baby doll from her Great Grandparents.

Ayda started to care for her baby right away!

Ayda then recieved the Poppin Park Elefun.
She could wait for us to open the gift once she saw the balls.

When Aunt B got to the party she made all of us go outside.
Ayda has an Auburn Car!

After her party, Ayda got to take a very long nap. After she woke up, we went back into the living room to play with her new toys. Ayda's face looked like she couldn't believe everything was still there. She was a very happy girl. Thank you to everyone who came to make it a very special birthday party!
