February 2014

After a snowy and cold week, we spent all day Saturday outside in 70 degree weather.
We took a stroll around the block.

We got new tires for the car and
saved one for a tire swing!

Super Bowl Sunday was spent playing dress up with the girls.

2/3/14: We are coming up on his fifth month birthday.
James has started to not want to lay down much these days.
He will try at first and then will cry till you help him get into a sitting position.
He is making the transition into 6-9 month clothes and size 3 diapers.

2/6/14: Loves Bananas

Eating a early Valentines present from
her Great Grandmother: M&Ms
 Ayda loves M&Ms

2/6/13: While I was putting James down for a nap,
I came back into the living room to find that Ayda put herself down for a nap.

2/6/2014: Sometimes dinner is just served
as soon as it comes off the griddle.
French toast sticks!

2/7/2014: Ayda is learning how to cut up bananas and James is enjoying some!

2/8/2014: The Winter Olympics are amazing! Ayda can be having a complete meltdown and tell me that she doesn't want to watch the Olympics while I feed her brother. But inch by inch she got closer and would hide behide the wall if she noticed I caught her watching.
Ayda also declared she wants to snowboard.
But she tried some ice skating

2/9/2014: James really loves to say cheese!
He really learned this from his sister.
 He really loves the camera!

Car Racing! Pick a team and then pick another team!

He likes to cover his eyes while he eats.

2/10/2014: New easel for our artist!

2/11/2014: The boy smiles all the time. Worst thing about it is when you lay him down (because you think he's asleep) and he turns his head and smiles. All you can do is smile back and pick him up. He knows how to get his way!

She reverted back to her old ways of drawing.

 Sibling Love
2/11/2014: James scooted 2 feet (I measured because I was in disbelief).
He stopped when he got to the wood floor because he didn't care for the cold.

Ayda:
2/11/2014: Finally added "I lu ju" to her I love you sign.
(Her I love you sign is "point her finger and thumb up and shake".
She is not able to put the pinky up all by itself.
2/12/2014: Finally said that her name is Ayda instead of saying "me".
2/12/2014: Said parmesan perfectly when she wanted some on her spaghetti.

  2/12: Happy James

2/13: After many cloudy days.
We had to wear sunglasses at breakfast.
