5/16: James waved for the first time. 

He waved back at Mamaw (great grandmother) at Oskar's restaurant.

He waves with opening and closing of his hands. 

This is different then Ayda's first wave, which was waving an open hand.

 5/23/2014: Five Year Anniversary

 A Family Picture at the church is

Elsa and Anna visited the Chick-fil-a here in town. 

We were also lucky enough to find an Elsa dress at Target today. 

The excitement of meeting them wore Ayda out. 

Here she is ten minutes before leaving, taking a short nap.

5/30: Second doctor visit this week. 

Ayda weighed 28.5 pounds and James is 22 pounds.

 Ayda wanted a picture with brother!

 5/31: Back on the boat

 Learning to drive

As of May 31, 2014, James can... 

wears 18 month size clothes

When crying in the car, James will calm down 

when we sing "Row Row Your Boat" and "Down by the Bay". 

Tries to crawl, but can't get his legs under him the right way.

Some time at the end of the month, 

he started clapping his hands together and it gets better everyday.

5/16: Waved for the first time and it gets better everyday.  

5/21: First time pulling himself to standing position. 

James pulled himself to standing a couple more times without any help

5/28: Started saying mom, mom, mom again and more frequently

At a doctors visit on 5/28, James weighed 22 pounds

Finally in a good two naps a day routine!

5/19: His top two front teeth poked through within 24 hours of each other. 

He now has a total of four teeth.

5/31: Started walking about four steps while you hold his hands.

Ayda can...

Eat an apple without it being peeled or sliced.

Loves riding the wave runner and boat.

Loves to fish.

Can count to 10 (sometimes skips 6 or 7)

Can recognize letters A to J and O, R, T, W

Can sing the ABC song almost perfectly.

Loves to sing "Let It Go" to James when he cries. James will listen with a smile on his face
