December 2013

Josh's and Rebecca's fifth Christmas as a married couple.
Ayda's third Christmas.
James's first Christmas.

Can't keep them apart.

Our elves (Hank and Hannah) showed up last night.
They brought Ayda and James Christmas PJ's from the North Pole!
We tried to get pictures in their new Pjs
Ayda trying to make James happy.
 with kisses
 Hugs
 He finally calmed down
We got a good picture with their reindeer footie Pjs.

James
12/12/13: James slept through the night from 10 to 7.
We woke up on his 12 week birthday all rested!

We all wrote letters to Santa
 And mailed the letters

Mustache Fun!

12/16/13: James loves books and hugs from his sister. He has found his thumb to suck. He only cries when his tired or hungry. When his pacifier falls out, he finds his thumb.
12/13/13: Ayda tested into the average range at speech. We finally have a talking girl! It took the work of speech, sign language, and being around many kids at the church. We are hearing sentences (mostly questions) and new words daily. She never wanted to copy what we said until this November and now she is repeating everything. We are so proud of her and can't wait to hear her say "I love you". (Which she will attempt to sign, the pinky is hard to keep up.)

After a hard walk with Mommy, Daddy, and Ayda.
The stroller was empty and Mommy's and Daddy's
hands were full for the last quarter of a mile.

Ayda spilled ice on the floor. While Mommy picked up the mess,
Ayda took care of brother by sitting on him and trying to feed him Chick-fil-a fries.

Ayda has four hair bows in her hair.

She shared one with James!

 Our Elves did it again!

Ice Cream date with Daddy!

Who loves noodles!

12/20/13: Visiting the doctor to make sure everything is
okay to go to Grams and Papaw for a week.
James at 14 lbs and 5 oz and getting to the end of a stomach bug
and a dry spot on the side of his head. We are good to go!

While Mommy and James were at the doctors office for three hours, Ayda had pajamas day and Christmas party at school. Daddy was able to come and watch her during circle time.

While Mommy is busy packing bags for our week long trip, Ayda decided to color the wall.
She had a time out (mostly to cool Mommy) and had to clean the wall.
